Six Down

Before Zentangle entered my life the crossword and sudoku in our daily newspaper was an important part of my morning. Now I don't have time for 1 across or 1 down and tangling inside squares is much more creative and productive. The inspration for this A4 size (8" x 11") ZIA (Zentangle Inspired Art) came from the 6 tiles that I posted last week, you can see them here.

  4. I always love your intricate oversized pieces. I look forward to seeing each new creation and keep thinking I'll try one myself but have yet to get up the 'courage'.

  5. Thank you!
Terrie, oh gosh, do try a bigger one. Find some nice paper and play, remember you can't go wrong. Draw your string and use your good micron pen and fill in the sections just the same as a tile. It's such fun, make a cuppa and go for it!

  6. Wow, beautiful choice of tangles, and you always draw such straight lines! And everything flows into something else... beautiful, I could look at this a long time and keep seeing something new

  7. So beautiful. I'm planning to start another large ZIA, and I always look to your work for inspiration.

How lucky we are that you found zentangle to replace crossword and sudoku!
